This is an exciting time for brides and grooms. Soon your wedding will become moments etched in time with memories to look back on and treasure forever. Capturing those passing moments is what Lisa Ortiz does, creating a lasting documentary of what happened that special day.

Located in the central Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Lisa Ortiz Photography specializes in outdoor wedding photography. Her studio consists of beautiful landscapes and mountain settings that surround Summit County. She developed an interest in photography soon after college; taking a camera wherever she went. Landscape and nature photography became her hobby and passion. She has attended workshops and seminars to become educated in the world as seen through the viewfinder. She then became very interested in a career as a wedding photographer and started her photography business in 1999. She currently photographs approximately 25 weddings a year in addition to portraits, family reunions and other events. Continuing education in the photography world is ongoing and never ending. New to 2004 is becoming a member of the Professional Photographers Association where she will continue to gain knowledge. When Lisa is not photographing people, she can be found in the great outdoors with her husband and two dogs in search of the next reason to trip the shutter.
