Mano Mandal always amuses his audience with a theatrical presentation of his mind-boggling illusions now performing magic shows for family parties, corporate programs, and different cultural and fund raising events around the Arlington area. To him magic is not meant just to baffle the audience, but also as a form of pleasant entertainment, a universal performing art which has no barrier of age, sex, religion or language. Recently his magic had been televised through the MHz Network TV channel in Kaleidoscope Of Asia. He is a registered performer with the Society of American Magicians Veterans Entertainment Program and enjoys performing for charitable and humanitarian organizations.
A Magic King!
Not really a King, but Magic King was the title given to him by the Social and Cultural organization (BCCDI), (?i 11837 ) for his charming presentation and outstanding service formunity Mano developed his own style in magic both on-stage and close-up. Since boyhood he has had a great passion for magic, which he cherished and seeks methods to enhance these skills. The creative nature of his act and his great sense of humor always convey a meaningful message to his viewers.
As he Acts
He creates and selects routines highlighting specific events. Here is a sample of one of his acts:
As he steps onto the stage with a great smile and wees the audience, a live dove appears from nowhere. He continues walking to the center of the stage waving hands in the air when another dove appears flying around andes back to his hand.
Then suddenly he produces a silk scarf which he transforms into a three feet metal cane - and floats the cane in mid-air. As he throws the cane in the air it disappears and turns into a lighted candle and silk scarf again. Out of thin air, with his extended hands he produces playing cards in an endless fashion and shuffling them creates a multicolored fan. The card changes to a billiard ball balls multiply and then vanish from his fingertips. It creates great suspense when he plays against gravity and levitates in an open space.
The production of bottles after bottle is very sensational and charming when one, two, four, and six, then eight martini bottles appear on an open table and as bottles keep on multiplying, changing position, shape and all of a sudden disappear leaving a small wine glass.
As he tells the story of a miser whose dreams be true, he produces a limitless number of coins from his bare hands. Coins virtuallye from just about everywhere, and he hands them off to the audience to see and feel.
Spectators are invited on stage they tie knots at each end of ropes as he asks the spectator to watch his hands. He links and creates linking rings of ropes, then unlinks them without untying the knots. He performs several more tricks with ropes.
Slowly blooming silk flowers create the illusion of a fountain of silk on his palm and the disappearance of silk scarves seems an impossible act! The sudden appearance of a huge birthday cake is a very special gift for birthday kids. And he performs predictions - intuitively writes the same thing as soon as spectator starts thinking!
Just a Brain Power
As a Mentalist he baffles the audience during his mega-memory trick. The audience names hundreds of objects and numbers and tells him just once. And without mistake he recalls all numbers and names.
He even tells the day (what day of the week) of any given date of a year in the last four hundred years in a splash of seconds. Ask him any special date of your life or the date of any special event and he is ready to tell the day of the week! With many more such memory tricks he encourages the audience to learn in an effective way by adapting better uses of brain power and memory.
