The Natural Thymes Herbary is the culmination of our dream. When we decided to spend our lives together, we also realized that we could never find complete happiness in the middle of suburban sprawl. So we gave up our jobs, waved goodbye to our families and headed for the wilderness of North Central Pennsylvania.
A year later we purchased our farm. Gryphon Manor, as we have named it, is forty acres of fertile farm land perched on a hilltop, overlooking the edge of Pennsylvania’s “Endless Mountain Country”.

About our products . . .
Although we have a limited supply of dried herbs available on a seasonal basis, the main product that we offer is our collection of hand crafted herbal soaps. We use a clear, natural glycerin as the base for our soaps. Our basic bars are scented with natural aromatic and essential oils (not the cheap artificial ones!). For those who want a gentle exfoliant with their cleansing, we add dried herbs to many of our bars. The natural oils contained in the leaves and flowers enhance the fragrance of the soap and, we believe, increase their therapeutic value as well.

We use our soap every day, so we are constantly changing and trying to improve our formulas. Please let us know how we can increase your enjoyment of our products.

OUR BASIC SCENTS

  • Chamomile . . . The same herb that is used to make relaxing teas can also bring a soothing aspect to your bathing experience.
  • Calendula . . . This herb is used for its soothing effect on irritated skin.
  • Cranberry . . . A clean, crisp scent that’s a great way to start a hectic day at the office! Midnight Musk . . . Light and sensual; great for a candle-lit dinner.
  • Eucalyptus . . . Deep cleansing for skin and sinuses.
  • Vanilla . . . A refreshing scent that’s great for every day use.
  • Lavender . . . Used in toiletries for centuries; try it and you’ll see why.

    Lavender, chamomile and calendula bars can be made with dried herbs for an additional $.25 per bar.
