Rickey Ford Mr.Saxophone is a multi-instrumentalist(keys/guitar/sax/flute/clarinet/vocals) and teacher who has performed with national and internationally known artists such as The Delfonics, Jennifer Holiday,Milton Berle, Kirk Whalum, Regina Belle, Joe Sample, Barbara Johnson Tucker, Hanq Neal, Dr.Theola Booker, Kermitt Ruffin, Conrad Johnson, Arnett Cobb, Don Wilkerson,T-99, Johnny Taylor, Benjamin J.Butler, Archie Bell, The Drifters and The Temptations to name a few. Mr. Ford has even opened up for The Houston Symphony in Jones Hall.
He has played everything from classical to rock, to reggae, to funk, the blues, gospel, jazz,pop,alternative, rock, zydeco/cajun, latin jazz, country, Motown and R&B. The audience is engendered to get up, shake a leg and rejoice in the beauty of music.
Mr. Saxophone is available as a solo, duo, trio, quartet with tracks or with his variety party band, 'Greatness. either with or without female vocals.
