Weddings are emotional, beautiful, romantic and fun occasions and your wedding photographer needs to capture it as such. It's my goal to do just that. Capture the natural essence of your wedding day, the feelings and emotions between the bride and groom and their family and friends. And, isn't that really what your wedding day is all about? And, I won't drag you around the whole time just to get the shots I want. The posed shots I get are the ones you've asked for.
Wedding photojournalism, in this photographers humble opinion, is the way wedding photography should be.
The main focus of wedding photojournalism, as it is in news photojournalism, isn't on posed photography. It's on the subjects, in this case the bride and groom, doing what they do and being themselves. And, as in news photojournalism, it is a photographic editorial essay of your wedding. It must capture not only the main points of the story, but the details as well.
And, yes, I do posed photography at every wedding (some parents would shoot me if I didn't), but the focus is on more "natural" shots.
