Preserve Your Memories specializes in turning old film, slides and pictures into a video family treasure that can be enjoyed over and over again. A typical project involves transforming reels and reels of raw 8mm film – some more than 50 years old – into an hour or more of edited memories. We then produce the final version on DVD or Video Tape. Special Effects such as music, titling and your own narration can be added to enhance your remembrance. Once the project is complete, we can make as many duplicates as you need for distribution to family and friends.

Step 1: Transfer
The Transfer process was developed by Preserve Your Memories. We’ve incorporated the latest technology, including some we developed ourselves, to insure the highest quality product. Not only to we re-create your memories in a new format, we also remove all of the blank segments of your film.

Step 2: Editing
Editing is more art than science. After editing numerous projects, our editors get a feel for what customers expect. During our editing process we remove any and all unrecognizable shots; which means that we are only charging you for the actual memories captured not for blank sections of film. Our state of the art editing systems allow us to deliver the highest quality product availible, so that you and yours will be able to enjoy your memories for generations to come.

Step 4: Duplication
Once your project is completed, it is stored on a DVD Master copy. From the Master, we can produce duplicate copies any time. So if you order 5 duplicates with your original order, for example, and find your need more copies a few months later, it’s no problem. Just call us and place an order. Your copies will be shipped within one business day.

Using the Master to make copies insures the quality of the original completed product.
