I came up hard with no one to guide me, and had to face the day-to-day challenge of survival alone in a cold and heartless place called The Naked City. In my youth I was encroached upon by would be role models that lead me down a path of self-destruction. I was lost and afraid I can’t deny it; I thought about giving up but my heart just wouldn’t buy it.

My life began to change for the better when I met my lifelong friend, and mentor the late Mr. Sam Howarth of Chatham, N.J. He picked me up, and dusted me off then set me on a straight course. Throughout the 30 year span of apparent Father and Son relationship he educated me about the meaning of life, and encouraging me to go back to school. When the time was right he gave me with career and financial counseling, and the rest as-they-say was history. I hope to pattern my life as a positive testimony to his strength of character, integrity and virtue.
