Reel Ting is a popular Caribbean Steel Drum band located in Southern Florida that specializes in tropical island destination weddings. The band was started by a number of dedicated and talented musicians and, as word spread, the band was recruited to play venues from as far North as New York to as far South as the Florida Keys. All of the Musicians have had many years of experience performing ande from vast musical backgrounds.
Bookings can include a solo act to a Full Wedding Band and we can work with any budget!
The Reel Ting music can be appreciated by everyone, no matter what age. Both young and old can generally be found singing and dancing, bridging the generation gap in the music culture. This is because Reel Ting's music ranges form Harry Belefonte's famous Caribbean song Yellow Bird to Bob Marley's hit I Shot the Sheriff . For the young at heart: Shaggy's Girl Your My Angel or Jimmy Buffett's It's Five O'clock Somewhere and the Country sounds of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire .
While on stage, the musicians teach different dances to the crowd, as well as many other 'follow-me' routines. The band is very professional, both in their attire, and approach to every event. The Reel Ting Steel Drum Band pride themselves on professionalism and many band members have studied music at a higher educational level.

On February 13th 2010 from 1:00PM to 3:00 PM the Reel Ting was posted as the main event Artigras located in Abacoa Town Center Jupiter Florida. The band started with Bob Marley's famous song Stir It Up and that song was followed by Three Little Birds which captured the hearts and souls of the attendees. Jeff Anton from Jensen Beach Florida stated I love this type of Music and The Reel Ting is as good as it gets . Dennis O'Hara from Begal Boyz in Jupiter is quoted as I love the Steel Drums, The Reel Ting Band are fantastic Musicians . The highlights of the Artigras were viewed on the local news channels by ABC and NBC and CBS local affiliates, All stations featured The Reel Ting performing on stage as part of their broadcasts.

Reel Ting Rates A+ for their performance at The Tum and Eli Wedding Party on December 12th 2009. Reel Ting preformed the Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Cocktail Hour at the prestigious Key Biscayne Island for this couple destination wedding. Some of the song preformed were Cannon in D, The Wedding March, then the band move on to the Cocktail hour singing Bob Marley songs as Stir it up and One Love and Three Little Birds.
I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to meet you at the wedding at all, but you and your guys did an amazing job and I wanted to send a quick thank you. I am on my honeymoon right now, but can't stop thinking about how great it was to have a talented band like yours at our wedding. You helped make it the perfect day that it was.
