Biography: Rich grew up in Chicago, IL and graduated from Southern Illinois University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. He started his entertainment career singing in a high school swing choir, moved on to a college party band and then a Wedding Band. In 1998 Rich took a DJ / Emcee assignment for a grand opening at the Mall of Georgia and that launched his DJ career. After that Rich began working for DJ agencies and trained under some very talented DJs, over time Rich developed a style of his own.

Style: Granted, some brides want a DJ who makes a spectacle of themselves by making noise, shouting, blasting the music and leading folds in the Macarena. This is not Rich's style.

Rich makes all of the appropriately timed announcements, but he does not make unnecessary comments, tell jokes and draw attention to himself. He arrives with the understanding that he is facilitating a celebration for the bride and groom. Rich plays great back to back songs and moves people with music. The right song at the right time creates an atmosphere. To be sure, Rich will pack the dance floor but he does it with perfectly placed songs. At the end of the night your guests will not remember the DJ, but they will remember having a GREAT TIME.
