If you are looking for an exciting and fun performance from a great entertainer, Rini is a New York based Singer, Songwriter and Violinist whobines and seamlessly blends Indian, Classical, and Popular music with the ecstatic tunes of Electronica and Rock. Kural, meaning voice in Tamil, is her first EP. It is an account of her life experiences expressed as a collage of a variety of genres that define and influence her as a musician. Rini is a featured soloist and choir member of the Berklee Indian Ensemble and can perform for your birthdays, corporate events, weddings and other unique occasions.
She has numerous performances and recordings to her credit, including being featured on violin in the viral video Jiya Jale that has 4 million views to date. She has toured with the popular Indian singer Karthik in Chicago, Detroit and the Bay Area, California as a strings orchestra conductor, arranger and a solo violinist and has several recordings with Grammy winningposers Bill Whelan and A.R.Rahman. She is an uing musical presence among the Indian diaspora and is a regular in New York City venues such as Alphabet Lounge, Silvana and Bowery Electric.
A graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a Major in Electronic Production and Design, she is also a core member of the Electro-Acoustic Fusion band Trandcention . She has performed with Swedish Bassist Bruno Raberg, Bangladeshi Singer-Songwriter Armeen Musa, Indianposer and Singer Clinton Cerejo and Japanese Singer-Songwriter Utako Toyama, as well.
