Rosalba is thepany and artistic director of the Zahira Dancepany. She counts with an extensive dance background that includes Middle Eastern dance styles, jazz, ballet, samba, Afro-Cuban, and Flamenco. She received most of her training from UCLA, Santa Monica College, and various dance studios in Los Angeles. She holds a dance degree from UCLA's World Arts and Cultures program and a dance teaching credential from UCLA and the state of California. Her Middle Eastern dance training came from world renowned teachers like Angelika Nemeth, Zahra Zuhair and Tamra-Henna.
Rosalba's talent has taken her to Egypt, Canada, and around the United States. In 2010 she was selected among many world applicants to train under the direction of Yasmina Ramzy and the Arabesque Dance Academy in Canada. She was also selected to be a contestant on America's Top Bellydancer project my Michelle Joyce and Lotus Niraja. This contest only took 24 top dancers from around the world. She has been invited to perform for the Dodgers, Chicago Bulls, Bikram, UGG Australia, and was recently featured on David Tutera's My Fair Wedding on Wetv.
Appreciated for her elegant, authentic and joyful performances the Rosalba and the Zahira dancers are often requested for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and stage productions. They specialize in all forms of Raqs Sharki shamadan, isis wings, saidi, veils and zills. Other Middle Eastern styles such as Armenian, Persian and Debke can be requested. Shows can also include Bollywood, Tango, Samba, Hula dance, Flamenco, and fire dance.

Finding a belly dancer in L.A. is not difficult but finding a dancer that understands the cultural aspects and incorporates authentic dance styles into her performances is something else.
