The elevation on the summit is 3000' above sea level. This refined rustic 'day lodge' does not offer facilities for overnight amodations, a restaurant or bar nor does it include any fully enclosed/climate controlled event facilities. It does, however, offer weather shielded structures to amodate up to 300 for a seated event (the VISTAVIEW HALL has strataglass curtain walls and is under roof), a smaller 'stand up' gathering for 75 (the OVERLOOK PAVILION is under roof) or a more intimate 'picnic' gathering (the TREE GARDEN has 2 Sky Shelters under roof) at this nature inspired , you're still outdoors but protected! The SILVER HEARTH LODGE is a green facility and we strongly encourage conservation, recycling and environmentally conscience living.
While the sights, sounds and feelings of nature provide a soothing mood for those who visit the SILVER HEARTH LODGE, transporting its guests to a serene state of mind, body and spirit, it is hard to imagine that the top of Bent Mountain is only minutes from Roanoke, VA.
