Candles

Simple Pleasures is a small business located in Jacksonville, Florida that was started by Tami Loftis and Dee Shannon (friends of 5 years) that both enjoy candles, crafts and bath and body products. We decided that we would like to make our own and that’s just what we did. Now we offer gel candles, gel air fresheners, smelly jelly air fresheners, bath salts, exfoliating body sugars, and other misc. gift items. We will also be adding glycerin soaps (handmade and pre-made rounds) and lip balm to our list of products.

Our candles range in price from $3.25 on up into the $100.00’s. We have a wide selection available for you to view and purchase on our website or if you don’t see what you are looking for, you can custom order just about anything that can be embedded in gel. Flammable items require a double glass technique which has a smaller candle inside a larger glass.

Gel Candles 3-D effect, brilliance, design and beauty enhance any décor. Gel Candles burn three to five times longer than paraffin wax candles, example: a paraffin wax tea light will burn approximately 3 – 4 hours, whereas a Gel Candle tea light will burn for approximately 20 hours. Another great benefit to Gel Candles is that after you have burned them you can return them to us to be refilled for half the original price with the same Glass Embeds and a new fragrance and/or color, so you can enjoy your candle for years to come!!

Gel Candles are GREAT wedding favors, for instance a votive gel candle in your wedding colors with personalized ribbon with your names and wedding date, Anniversary Parties, or even attendant gifts.
