The Stitely Orchestra has been providing exceptional music for brides and grooms since 1995. During that time, it has garnered a reputation as one of Chicago’s most respected and requested dance orchestras, performing at more than 140 events a year.

We go to great lengths to ensure that your wedding is a reflection of your vision. From exquisite ceremony music to smooth cocktail and dinner music to pack-the-floor dance music, Jeff Stitely uses his more than 25 years of music experience to make your event an unforgettable experience.

The Stitely Orchestra typically performs as an 8 or 10-piece band, but can vary its size to accommodate different musical tastes, venues and budgets. Featuring many of Chicago’s top vocalists and musicians, the band can perform a wide variety of music, including Big Band, swing, jazz, rock, Motown, R&B, funk, disco, contemporary, Latin and other ethnic music.

Orchestra leader Jeff Stitely has been entertaining audiences for more than 25 years. An internationally acclaimed jazz drummer, Jeff has performed with such superb artists as Chick Corea, Randy Brecker and Wynton Marsalis. He has also extensively toured Europe, the Mideast the United Steates. He won “Best Soloist” at the 9th International Jazz Competition of Belgium and his jazz quartet’s CD, “Chameleon Eyes” was selected as one of the top 10 CDs of the year by WBEZ-FM and the Chicago Sun-Times.

In addition to the Stitely Orchestra, Stitely Entertainment features four other top Chicago orchestras: Chicago Groove Collective, the Bobby Schiff Band, the Alan Gresik Swing Shift Orchestra and 312 Chicago. Chicago Groove Collective, the Bobby Schiff Band and 312 Chicago can each provide excellent ceremony, cocktail, dinner and dance music and feature an equally diverse repertoire. Each band will work with you to craft a music program tailored to your tastes and which capture the essence of your event The bands can vary in size from 6-17 musicians and are comprised of top Chicago musicians and vocalists.

The Alan Gresik Swing Shift Orchestra Orchestra performs 30s and 40s swing music and was featured in the MGM movie “Return to Me.” It has become a Chicago institution on Thursday nights at the legendary Green Mill Jazz Lounge in Uptown Chicago, where it has been packing in crowds for eight straight years.
