Maybe it's the gentle curve of the Stone Arch Bridge with the sound of the watering over the Falls of St Anthony or possibly the view of the Minneapolis skyline from the Stone Arch Bridge, its spectacular! It might be the tree lined West River Parkway or the mixtures of architecture from residential tomercial, old and new stand side by side. Last but certainly not least is Nicollet Island, charming homes, the Nicollet Island Inn, parkland, beautiful views of the city and river.
The Taste of The River Tour highlights Nicollet Island and themunity that makes this island home. Beautiful Victorian homes that date from the late 1800, charming cobblestone streets and spectacular views. The tour crosses over the King Iron Merriam Street Bridge to experience Main Street with its cobblestone streets lined with charming restaurants located in some of the oldest buildings in Minneapolis. This tour is approximately one half hour.
