Thank you for your interest in The Legendary Dukes. We would love to help make your wedding day even more special! The Legendary Dukes are a 8 piece band with five lead vocalists ( 4 male & 1 female) and an incredible three piece horn section. . Our rhythm section will have everyone out of their chairs & on the dance floor before you know what happened, and with everyone singing background the sound is Full & Rich. With our extensive song list we can get the crowd on it s feet whether they are 8 or 80. However I should worn you that we are Macarena/chicken dance free band . But what we will do is have everyone dancing and singing along all night long.
Have a special song for your 1st dance? If we don t know it, we will learn it. If it's something that we can't do, our in-house DJ will play it for you. Also our DJ/Soundman will keep the party rolling when the band's on break by spinning the tunes that will keep you dancing. We are also CD/IPod friendly if you have special music you d like played during the breaks or during dinner.
We know that you d like your reception to flow effortlessly and without problems. Let The Legendary Dukes extensive experience help you out and help make your special day run smoothly so the two of you can dance, talk with your guests and not worry about a thing.
We also offer a One-Stop Shopping option for all your wedding day music needs. Our classically trained horn section can perform at your ceremony if needed either as a brass trio or as soloists with your organist. Trumpet, Trombone or Flute soloist or Brass Trio or Flute trio. We can also help with live music for the cocktail hour with piano or acoustic guitar , with our without a horn player added to give your cocktail hour a special feel. Originally known as Wilmer Alexander Jr. & The Dukes the band has been performing since 1957.
The Current line-up has been together roughly 18 years. We have done countless wedding receptions, parties and Corporate Events across NYS and Canada and have always received glowing reviews. .
