The Tiny Trotters can bring one or two small and gentle ponies for your child's birthday party or a special event.

Serving San Luis Obispo & surrounding areas, The Tiny Trotters provides animals such as Ponies, Goat, Sheep, Chickens, Alpacas, and a Yak, as well as, lead line pony rides for small children at your backyard or party area as well as facilities for a party at our tiny ranch in Los Osos. We service birthday parties and other special events. Our animals are happy to be at your special event. We can customize our presentation to suit your theme. We come to you and set up our small animal petting zoo or we are available at our place, by appointment only.
Petting Zoo - $300
Our petting farm animals may vary, right now we have soft lop eared bunnies, exotic Chinese Silky chicken and friendly white Pygmy goats. In the spring, the babies are born and once they are old enough they come along with their mommies to the petting zoo.
Pony Rides - $300
One pony is usually enough for a group of 12-15 kids max. For a larger group or if your birthday child will have their own pony the entire time then add a 2nd pony for 1/2 price. If you have a party theme or special colors let us know and we will try to coordinate to it. The small ponies are perfect size for children up to 50 pounds. The larger ponies are geared for children between 50 - 65 pounds, usually up to 7 years old.
Los Osos Ranch Party - $250
We have a party area here at our tiny ranch in Los Osos. Completely fenced area so the parents can relax while keeping an eye on the children. Includes the use of the area for up to 3-4 hours with one hour unlimited pony rides and includes some optional petting farm animals. We have a BBQ for you to use, tables, play structure and it is a completely fenced area so the parents can relax while keeping an eye on the children and enjoying the festivities.
Pony Experience - $20
If you just want a ride for one or two children, we offer rides at our place. Your child will not be riding the entire time, they will brush the pony, help saddle the pony and walk the pony. Once the horse is groomed and saddled they ride down our country road and back with you leading their pony.
Barnyard Buddies Summer Camp
This summer we will be hosting our first ever Barn Yard Buddies Camp where your child will learn all about animals including how to ride and all the proper care. The prices listed is the total for a 3 day adventure. There is a maximum of 9 children per group and a minimum of 4 so call or email now to reserve your spot!
2-4 Year Olds - $90 (9:00a-10:30a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
Activities include learning simple anatomy, safety and sanitation, grooming and overall care, feeding, wagon rides, saddling, riding and a "bring your own snack" break.
5-7 Year Olds - $200 (1:00p-5:00p Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
Activities include learning simple anatomy, safety and sanitation, grooming and overall care, feeding, wagon rides, saddling, bridling, riding, hoof care and a "bring your own lunch" break.
