Tina, the photographer, was raised in the Rio Grande Valley, spending each summer on South Padre Island, so it was only natural that after attaining her Associates Degree in Photography from the Art Institute of Houston and working for two years for a major studio in Dallas, she returned to the Rio Grande Valley in 1997, opening TLC Photo Design. Since then, she has gained her reputation as one of the Valley's most unique and sought after photographers.

Tina's young and fresh creativity is reflected in her work. She has developed her own blend of lighting, utilizing ambient sunlight for warmth and artificial light for clarity, resulting in finished portraits which are both relaxed and elegant, perfectly at home in either casual or formal settings.
