Lilla Varese’s love of Middle Eastern dance, along with her training and perhaps her smattering of Arabian ancestry, combine to make her an authentic, refined belly dancer. Lilla's modern Egyptian styling is graceful and fluid. Her stage presence is charismatic, joyful and inspired. Lilla’s performances are filled with glamour, elegance and excitement that leave audiences smiling.

Either as a soloist or along with her professional dance company, Lilla Varese can provide entertainment that will dazzle even the most discerning audience. The Lilla Varese Dance Company has performed in venues from school cultural festivals to large-scale professional theatre events.

Lilla has trained with some of the most illustrious dancers and master teachers from Egypt, Lebanon, the United States and other parts of the world, and was a core member of Angelika Nemeth’s Arabian Dance Ensemble and Sahra Kent's Ya Amar dance company early on in her dance career.

Lilla is a popular soloist, appearing regularly at restaurants and nightspots such as the Marrakesh and the Aegean over the past ten years, and was the featured dancer for over three years at the Caspian restaurant in Irvine.

Lilla appears in numerous professional belly dance performance videos. In 2004, Lilla was selected by the prestigious International Association of Middle Eastern Dance (IAMED) to appear as a soloist in the commercially produced video “Belly Dance Rocks”, and in August 2005 presented her dance company in IAMED’s annual summer spectacular, “Belly Dance Live”, at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, as well as appearing as a soloist in “Belly Dance Sensations”. In 2006 Lilla Varese Dance Company returns to grace the IAMED stage in its production “Belly Dance O’Rama”.

Lilla Varese and one to five members of Lilla Varese Dance Company are available for booking to make your special event spectacular, including weddings, theme parties, grand openings, corporate parties, engagement parties, galas, and birthday celebrations. Performances can be done to live or pre-recorded music. Lilla will tailor her performance to your event, whether it calls for a five-minute solo or a full-length show complete with modern and folkloric dance pieces, costume changes, and her breathtaking Isis wings.
