Steel and Ivory - Steel Drum Players
Macarldie is a multi instrumentalist, Vocalist and Composer.

As a child in the Tortola British Virgin Islands, Macarldie performed religious music with his father and sisters. His teenage years found him in nightclubs and hotels performing Island standards and the top 40 hits of the Caribbean and America. After moving to the States, he studied Jazz Piano and Vocals at Florida Atlantic University and began performing all over the U.S.A and the Caribbean. Over the years, Macarldie has evolved his personal style of music into a riveting, dynamic sound that is sophisticated and beautiful. He has retained the ability to perform Caribbean music in its undiluted form, while developing a style that fuses Jazz, Latiin, R&B and Caribbean music.

An all Acoustic Steel Drum band comprised of three Steel Drum players and a Drummer/Percussionist's group is very popular with people who love traditional Steel Drum music. They also interpret several popular Jazz standards on their Steel Drums.

We are a trio from the Caribbean that has been performing together for the past fifteen years. Our instrumentation is Steel Drums, Bass-Guitar, Drum-set Keyboards, Guitar and three vocals. We do all styles of Caribbean music and we can also mix in some Jazz, Latin, R&B and Blues if desired. We are experienced and know many ways to make your event more fun.
