Portrait Photographers

All Natural Photography was started in 2002 by photographer Sari Goodfriend. She is a New York City native and works out of Manhattan. She goes on location for the majority of her shoots, coming right to your home. There is a reason for this, besides making your life easier. It all fits in with Sari's idea of "natural photography". All parents want to record their children's faces as they grow and change. Sari believes that the best record is one of spontaneous moments and fun times. So, rather than have parents bring their children into the artificial environment of a portrait studio, Sari realized that the best way to achieve this "lifestyle" kind of photograph was to make house calls! That way, the kids are more relaxed and can be themselves and play and laugh and not worry about needing to smile for the camera within a short slot of time. This has turned out to be a great idea and Sari has had many very satisfied customers.

Sari is still the main photographer and will meet you in a house, an apartment, in a park or on the beach. The most important thing is that the child have fun and not feel pressured just because there is a camera. Sari works like a photojournalist, talking to the child, getting to know them, making sure they trust her and then stepping back and letting the kids do their thing. Sari will photograph parents with the children, if so desired. Also grandparents, pets, etc.. she is open to your ideas.
